Frank.......

What a great railroad.  It looks like I could step through the glass and onto the streets of your scenes.

Thanx
Bob
Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

Frank,
I really hope you are not getting too caught up in your deadline so that you still have time to enjoy the artistry of your creation.  Each time I see one of your photos I marvel not only at the beautiful structures and scenery, but at all the wonderful scene composition and the many details that draw me into the scene.   I am sure Lou is going to feel the same even if you stop right here.  And, once again, thank you so much for taking time to post these photos for the rest of us to enjoy!

Jerry,

Thank you for your kind words. The deadline does not bother me. As you probably guessed, I'm a bit of a stickler when it comes to my layout and make sure that it will look right. My wife has been painting people and working to find suitable places for them. I had a nice talk with Lou earlier today and look forward to his photographic skills showing off my layout. Glad you like the photos and I hope to post more later in the week.

Frank,
Excellent work my friend!  You are a true modeler!  I can't wait to see all the great photos MR. Lou S. takes of your layout.  It's going to be awesome.  I really can't wait till after he leaves your layout, that means you'll have completed many scenes and the fun of you using your railcar cam to film your layout will be really something to see!  Take care and Keep working hard for the next week and half sir.  Thanx Thom...

Thom,

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your visit. I hope that George stops by sometime. It would be great to hear from the "master". These last two weeks will be action packed and I look forward to a vacation afterwards. In the meantime, it is full steam ahead. All the best...

Frank, that is the best looking water I have seen since Lake Michigan.  Can't wait to launch a boat and go fishing.

Hi Frank

I just had to take the time out of my vacation to tell you how magnificent your rr is.  You are raising the bar

Jim,

That was my first attempt at water. I think it turned out okay. One really needs to see it in person to see the form, color and texture of the water. Glad you enjoyed it.

Vacation, what is that. I'll be taking one after the photo shoot. Thank you for your kind words. As i mentioned to Jim, the photos really don't do it justice. I am looking forward to seeing what Lou Sassi is going to do, because he has the eyes and toys to make the layout sing. I glad you enjoyed the pics. Just a few details to finish and then I can relax for a couple of days. Once you get into "the swing" of the scenery, it is hard to stop. I keep seeing things that I could add. Am I crazy?!!!
Thanks for stopping.

Frank,

It was nice talking with you this afternoon. Looks like we have both been very busy.

Your layout and scenery are absolutely stunning. The shot with the loco on the bridge and the engineer looking out in front of the loco is really a great scene.

Well done my friend, very well done.

Tom,

Taking a break from standing working on layout drawings. Nothing is simple on this railroad! Not even the layout drawings. They will be four pages consisting of:(1) Hidden track,(2) The river route,(3) the mainline and the (4) layout drawing with all the structures. Between Chester, Little Falls, Ironia and Essex Falls, I am close to 100 structures. Whew!!!
I have been talking to Lou Sassi quite a bit during these last few days. And yes, I am still finishing scenery and people. The wife is doing that project. I have some new photos of Essex Falls that I will post in the next day or two. Well, enough of this frivolity, back to work.
Keep up the beautiful scenery on your layout. Good talking with you as well. Love the trees.

TOM and those that follow,
As promised, here are some pics that I took yesterday. Overall, everything is done, just some minor minutia to be added here and there. These photos are of the towns of Essex Fells and Ironia. I am now working on the layout drawings. My layout is somewhat difficult to define because it has several layers that have to be show separately as I explained earlier. So-o-o. after a brief exercise class this morning, I'll be working on completing the drawings, then onto final details. Lou will be arriving next Friday, shooting Ron's layout on Sat & Sun, then mine on Monday and Tuesday. Should be fun. Thanks for all the kind thoughts. Enjoy the pics.
