I've finally finished building this kit and my scratchbuilt trestles and set it in place over the Plughole Falls.  Next stop is the pool and river bed, waterfalls and pouring the water.  I need to do some experimenting on making vertical water! I am glad this part is finished but have to say the kit was brilliant.

That is the same one I have haven't even started it yet.  I may have a few questions for you when I get going.

You certainly did and excellent job on that.

Anything I can do to help, just call.   Best advice, read the instructions through at least 3 times before touching any wood! Stain all wood first naturally. The jig is great but you need to really understand the shimming with plastic strip and then it falls into place.  If you have a mini drill press that would make drilling for the struts easy, I did mine by eye with the made up jig he recommends you to make and was lucky! You get a choice to add end shoes or not but no explanation as to why, I'm sure Mike at BBC would have let me know but being lazy I decided to go without.  Oh and patience....................... ;)

Thanks Bart, I have to say I'm amazed by how well it turned out and by how much patience I developed in the process.  I normally want things finished yesterday and you can't build  a kit like this in a rush.

Hi Barrymk:

Nice build. they make beautiful kits. I have built one of their kits but have seen them at shows.
