This is my third Monster Modelworks kit in a row. Jimmy's work with the laser is fantastic.  Here's the package and contents.

I like the way the instructions are presented, with clear legible color pix.

After reading through the instructions and getting familiar with the parts and assembly sequence, the first step is to sand the side edges of some of the walls for a tight fit. This is MicroMark's knockoff of NWSL's sander.

Dave K.

Next up is bracing the walls. This goes quickly as all the bracing is pre-cut for you.

Next you affix two corner pieces to the front wall. You can see how nicely the laser work lines up.

Great to see a build thread on this one - I will be watching.

These kits are great, John. Great brickwork and they go together beautifully.

I paused in the instructions at this point to paint the interior walls black. This is the last structure I'm building for the club I've belonged to for over three years. New members have changed the climate and I'm not enjoying it much anymore. So, in case they decide to light the structure it'll be good to go.

Dave K.

Next step is to line the window and door openings with some framing. As you can see I've already masked the front wall in anticipation of painting. The lower part of the building is cinderblock while the upper part is brick.

Thanks for sharing the build Dave.  It looks like and interesting kit, and well made, kit.  I'll be following along.   :D

Welcome aboard, Greg and Tom.

Here's a typical MMW parts sheet. On the left are the trim pieces for inside the door and window openings. On the right are the loading door bumpers. It's easy-peasy to cut them out, sand off the li'l nubbin's, sand them fit, and glue them in place.

Dave K.

You'll notice in this picture that beneath each of the three windows are sills of half-bricks. Each of these will get a laser-cut brick sill to give the wall some dimensional detail. Again it's easy-peasey to cut, sand, and glue in place.

...and ditto for the larger window.
