Great job Karl. That's a really nice blending of textures/media/surfaces (what's the right word?). I really love the shingled walls and the roof color best.

Hi John:

Thanks for the compliment. The Roof Color Is Model Masters SAC Bomber Green (A military color). I use It a lot as it is a nice mellow green color. Also use Wal Mart flat red primer. Almost an exact match for Floquil Zinc Chromate Primer.  The shingles are, I think, Campbell Scale Models. I really like them as the look great when you lift and weather them. They Are painted Floquil Earth, A&I wash And dry-brushed with Floquil Antique White.

Side Stair well is next. Then this building will be finsihed. Then I have to build the abandoned shed that goes between it and the tavern. Then I shall glue to the base and do scenery around these two buildings.

Karl,

The colour scheme is amazing; I think it is worth copying someday.

postalkarl

Hi Martin:

Glad you like the colors. They are the ones George suggest except for the stairwell. He used gray and I used Zinc Chromate primer by Floquil.
