Ain't that the truth?   :D

A classic FSM kit + Karl at the bench = a wonderful build!  I'll be following along for sure!  ;D

It doesn't get any better than this - a classic FSM kit and Karl is building it.  I will be along for the ride.  We should have a side bet on the color scheme that Karl will use - he does have the eye for it.

Karl,

Since I haven't built this one as yet you know I'll be following along. This is another one of George's great kits.

Hi Frank B., Bob B., John S., Tom l., And Greg:

Thanks for the interest in this build. This looks like a pretty tough complicated kit. I will try to do my best with it. Glad to have you all following along.

Hi Karl,

Can you go over your technique for painting the metal doors/windows when you get to that point? I would appreciate it!

thanks!

Hi Bob C:

1) It's pretty simple. Paint the doors and windows the color of choice and allow to dry.

2) Add A&I Wash and allow to dry.

3) Dry-Brush with white or light gray.

4) Add glass to windows. I use Gallery Glass. Then The Shades.

Thats about it.

 Hi Guys:

I finished one of the walls to see how it would look.  It is painted with Krylon Camouflage #4295 Sand. Almost A perfect match for Floquil Earth. Then A&I wash followed by dry-brushing with Apple Barrel #20526 Country Grey.

Here's A photo let me know how it looks OK.
