Here is an overall view of Franklin in this area - Maxwell's is the large building on the top left.

Next to Maxwell's we have Echert & Company Candy and Confectioners.

Next to Echert's we have this unnamed structure with a tunnel leading to the upper level of East Franklin.

Beautiful. Definitely some angles I've never seen before!

Agree with John....the different angles definitely show more details and views then I've never seen.

Thank you, John, for your continued hard work in keeping this thread going!  And thanks again for your help in my project.

Talk to you later.

John has been to the F&SM in the past. When he goes back, he has definite ideas of what he wants to get photos of. I know what he has in his photo cache and I'm telling you folks it will only get better. He has shots of thing that can't be seen from the isles.

He close ups of each structure are wonderful.

I, on the other hand, was a neophyte visitor to the F&SM. I was just thrilled to be there and meet George. What a fantastic host and very humble. It was all I could do to just keep my drooling on my shirt and not on his models.

Thank you George, John and Thom for making it all happen.

Well I stopped by George's yesterday I was surprised to find the new Expo reefer wasn't looking so new.

Thanks for pictures Hal.  It looks like that reefer has seen some hard duty in the past month.

The last structure we need to cover in section R 11 is Murphy's Pool Hall which is just across the street and down the hill.

Murphy's Pool Hall (set 2).

This is the view we usually see of Murphy's from the floor level.

Raise your hand if you'd buy F&SM decals to letter a car running on your railroad!

(I'd rather have the decals than a complete car, so I could letter something on my 1890s era layout.)

Murphy's ( set 3) just in case we missed an angle or detail.
