Tonight, I'm getting pictures ready for posting for the section D7. In this section we catch the first few structures in Mayfield and a few of the structures on the other side of the peninsula which is Bedford Falls.
I'm going to stick to the format of covering the layout a section at time rather than trying to keep the structures in a particular town all in one place. I think between the section map and the index it will be easier to find a structure that way. When we have made it around the layout with this thread I will go back and cross reference the photographs in the previous thread in the index so it is easy to find all the pictures of a particular structure.

Here is the view as we turn the corner and make our way into Mayfield.

Now lets concentrate on the individual structures.

Hi John:

Thanks for the great photos. I love that farm.

I love looking over each photo.  I try to see what parts of different kits George has used to make a different scene.  In the Farm scene I noticed that the Vegy/Fruit stand looks like it is part of the loading dock from Bailey's.  Also from the farm if I am not wrong the tractor repair shed is from Barnstead Lumber.  I guess if you ever build the FSM kits hold on to the templets & build something to make your diorama/scene a little bit more interesting!

I'm glad you are enjoying the thread - I do exactly the same thing when I look at the pictures. I'm building each structure in my head by putting FSM, and others, kit parts together.  You will find a lot of Bob VanGelder's castings on the F&SM.  I will be posting pictures of one tonight - I just got through editing it.

I'll start showing the pictures of the structures in this area when John gets to the individual buildings.

Speaking of John getting to the individual structures in this area let's get started.

The first  structure on the far left in our overview picture is The Adams & Westlake Mfg. Co.  I believe this is a kit bash of a CC Crow Engine House.

Next door we have the Avram's Bakery - one of George's FSM kits.

Next to Avram's we have a group of buildings that you will recognize from one of BoB VanGelder's kits (Treadwell's). George has this building labeled P. P. Butdat.
