As we pull into Franklin the first structure is this tower with interior detail.

Next we have the bridge that leads to Franklin Station.

On the F&SM even the vehicles are highly detail models.  This car is complete with passengers.  I understand that this is the work of our own Dan Raymond.  There are very few modelers that have their work displayed on the F&SM RR.  Good work Raymo!

We hit another landmark with this last picture.  Picture number 1600 on the F&SM threads.

The red one is mine. The grey one is a diecast that came out a few years back, not sure of the manufacturer.

This is the car I built on the old forum. I feel Blessed George liked it enough to be put on the F&SM.

You can see Raymo's red vehicle on the bridge in the upper right of the photo. This is a good bird's eye view of the tower below in relation to the bridge.

Lots of vehicle traffic in the bridge area.

Kudos! to you Raymo,  You do excellent work as usual.  Notice it's right up front on display like it should be. That's not an accident.  George talks about what others have done on the layout all the time.   You-da-man!   T...

I spent a good part of the day and night yesterday sitting in airports and on airplanes.  I have sorted lots of pictures and will be posting them this week. Please stay tuned - today I will not be doing much sitting - I'm suffering from layout withdrawals and sleeping on an airplane syndrome.

On the other side of the bridge George has this wonderful highly detailed news stand as part of the lower level of Franklin Station.
