Thanks - It is a big project, but I think it is well worth the effort. I hope everyone is enjoying the pictures.

John,

The photos are incredible. I see structures I haven't noticed before.

I have many to add but I'll wait until you get to the areas where I have back up photos. If I'm fortunate enough to ever get back to the F&SM, I'll get more close ups.

Thanks for all your efforts.

Hi Tom

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures you have to add.  The stick I was using to take the pictures in Franklin really helped. I'm so thankful that George let me use it. I know exactly how you feel about taking closeups - it's the only way to capture what George has built.  After I had taken all the pictures, I spent 4 hours without the camera, just taking it all in.  Those photographs in my mind are the best - I get excited as I'm going through the pictures when I see something that I remember seeing for the first time.  Georges layout is a tremendous inspiration for my own layout. The whole point of this project is for others to be inspired on their projects. I will keep plugging away at adding pictures to this thread a few each week.

As I get started adding pictures tonight, I want to make sure that everyone realizes that we are walking our way down Main Street.  In many cases, I will be adding photographs of the backs of some of the buildings like I did with Pelky's.

As we move down Main Street the next structure is Salmon & Glickstein LTD.  The downed street lamp was reported to George and repaired.

Here is a picture zooming back out on this area showing another one of George's wonderful towers at the end of the street.

To complete this section we have one more structure. Ezra Barnhill Corporation.
