Thank you for posting the photo's of Gargle Oil Company.  I had looked at photo's in the past of Gargle however I never knew the amount of detail that George has put into this little scene.  The piping & storage tanks alone would take the average modeler months to do.
Does anyone know what George used for a starting point?  Is there some kits that he used?
Just like John Allen the name of the proprietor of Gargle is something to think about.  If I am not wrong Skootz is names after Georges Late cat & I wonder if McGillcuddy is named after Lucy from I Love Lucy TV show of many years ago.  I think McGillcuddy was Lucy's maden name.

Thanks for following the thread - I see that Tom answered your questions. This is a big complex - George removed the top of Mount Allen to make room for it.  I really like Tom's  "George is casting" comment. I'm taking that as a good sign.

           I believe used an old Vollmer kit he had in the back room for years.  George has several old Vollmer kits he's used in recent years on the layout.  John S. has shown a couple already in this thread. I'll ask about the Lucy show question next time we talk.  He's casting right now. Hope this helps.    Thanx Thom...
