I talked to George about this structure.  George didn't build it he bought / traded it many years ago from the late Dave Newcomb.  I, with George's concurrence, named it the Dave Newcomb building. If you check out the other "It's about the details" F&SM thread I have more pictures and a few more details about the building.

No hurry!  You get healed up first. I have a bunch more for Dovertown that will keep me busy for awhile.  I will hold off on moving on to the North River area until you can catch up. Do not, I repeat, do not push yourself and end up having more problems. End of lecture.  ;)  I hope the fact that your getting back on the forum means your feeling better. Get well soon my friend.

We also have this box car red structure - I can't make out the name on the side of the building - it's on my list of questions for George.

I've always been a fan of the Dave Newcomb building, It's definitely a unique structure. Looks like one of the old Master Creations designs in style.

It was featured on one of the pages of the original FSM book. If I recall George said it was a contest winner and at the time of the book I think the only structure not built by George. I'm amazed at how George can completely redo a whole area and have it look seamless. When I visited during the last Expo it had been 15 years since my last visit and it was like a whole new layout in places.

This thread is great, thanks for posting all these pictures.
