Jeff,
George & I say you are welcome!  Your layout is looking good!  You laid out the buildings and trackage well.  Keep up the great modeling.  Thanx Thom...

Jeff...

Great photos ..... great railroad.

I really like your 544 0-8-0 switcher.  As you recall my dad worked for the Q and modeled similar hump top boiler steamers when he modeled in the 1940's.

The wide shot of 544 pushing the hoppers past the ware house is a really cool shot.

But..........

I don't recall my loaning you my red pick up for the street corner photo at Lightman's Army - Navy store.

Did you boys come and steal my truck again  ? ? ?  I better not find it out of gas in the garage  ! ! !

Thanx for the photos

see ya
Bob
Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

Thanks for the kind words Tom, John, Thom and Bob.  In reality only the Forley's area of the layout has any scenery at all.  All the rest of the pictures were "staged" on the layout or in my professional photo studio (picture one), the rest of the layout looks like picture two.

Jeff,
L@@k out folks!, I think we got another John Allen with a camera, smoke and mirrors on our hands. ha.   I don't care, it all still looks good and captures the imagination.  Thanx Thom...

Nice camera work! I thought I was way behind on your build thread.  You have some really nice looking structures ready for planting.

Great pictures of the hopper and layout Jeff.

Is it me or does it seem that the FSM hopper car isn't making the rounds of as many layouts as previous traveling cars?  :-\

Any chance of getting it to a bunch more layouts for display?  ???

Anyone who wants to host the car just needs to post on this thread and send me a PM with their mailing address.

It could take a turn around my B&M Eastern Route (there's somewhat more scenery than when Tom's AS hopper visited, plus signals).  I'm north of Boston, so I could easily pick it up or drop it off at the F&SM, or relay to other layouts in the area.

I will add you to the list.  The car will probably be mailed to you from across the country.  You will be asked to mail it to the next person on the list. I will update the list after the holidays.

Here are a couple more shots as the hopper made it's way around the layout.

The second layout that the F&SM Hopper visited this week was Rich Murphy's Canton Western Railway (CWR).  We have three more stops planned for the Hopper while it is in the area.  Here are a few photographs of the Hopper on the CWR.
