Karl,
Its fun to see a FSM build of one of the old Kits. Will you build the kit straight from the directions or will you build again with the flat back wall.  To tell you the truth I think the flat back wall theme looks very interesting.  I do not think everything has to have a rail siding.  What paint (colors) are you using on this build.  Did not know if they are they same brand as the 1st build.

Thanks, Mike Sigmon

Hi Mike:

Yes I will be building it per the instructions as it is for a friends RR. Walls are Tamiya Dark Tan Spray,  Green Is Floquil Coach Green Spray, Stone is Floquil Concrete (brushed), Dark A&I And dry-brushed with a light gray craft paint.

HI guys:

Here's the scratch built Barnstead's on my RR. The buildings are all scratch built. It was A town block on the F&SM. The building across the street is from an article in one of the RR mags. There are 6 scratch built buildings in the picture.

Hi Karl.....nice teaser picture of your layout. Do you have a thread going about your layout and track plan?

Oh shoot.....it looks like it may have been very interesting to see, given the level of detail that you put into your structure builds.

If you do run across those old photos, I'd enjoy seeing them.  :)
