I'll be watching. I've got this one on the way from Doug (along with Dead Horse Bay).

I'm watching - you have to be quick around here or you will be done before the pop corn is ready.

Hi Jan, John & John S.

Yeh I kinda like all the lines this one has. I stained the walls last night. Glad you are all watching.

Hi All:

Made a bit of progress today. Painted and assembled wall, windows, glass and shades Used the same scheme doug used.

1) White is Poly Scale Aged White

2) Yellow is Ameicana #DA08 Yellow Ochre Thinned down as a stain. This is craft paint.

3) Both colors are over A&I stain.

Here's the photos. Had some wall warping but bracing straightened it out.

Hope it looks OK.

Looking good Karl. I think some of the FOS background kits are the coolest designs, I wish they released them as full kits.

Hi Steve:

Yeah I love his background kits. I have almost all of them built up and on my display shelf up against a wall. doug has one of the best imaginations in the kit business. I never get tired of building his kits. Just finsihed Grove Woodcrafters and I'm working on Cookson's Soap.

Nice start, Karl. But what you are going to do when you run out of kits to build?

I've got my popcorn and pulled up my chair to watch this one too.  I love the background flats that Doug does and this one looks particularly interesting.   :)
