This is a wonderful build so far Bobby!  I really like it.  Everything is aged/weathered to perfection and blends together quite well.  Thanks for sharing!

I just caught up with your thread. The build is coming out great.  What everyone else said plus!

Thanks Bob & John,

Mighty high praise coming from you two!

I made a little more progress, added the scale house to the dio and the ladder to the upper platform. In the process of adding ground covering around the scale house I broke the railing off of the stairs leading up to the lower platform. I actually had the same issue with the upper platform. No biggie, I'll fix it later.  ::)

I am currently working on the coal shed, so far the coal shed has been the most challenging part of the build. That and trying to not break railings on the upper and lower platforms.

I have learned a few things so far on this build:

1. The lighting in my toy train room is terrible for photos.
2. I am not a good photographer.
3. FSM kits are fun to build.
4. FSM kits are not as intimidating as they seem to be!

:D ;D :P ::)

Hi Bobby:

Excellent work. The finishes on your structures are very well done. Especially the white.

Hey Bobby,

   Nice work on the Coal Shed. You nailed that roof with just the right amount of weather.

Thanks for sharing!

The build looks great. I agree you nailed the roof.  It looks like an  "in service roof " ,  not one that needs to be replaced. Very nicely done.
