Well people have started building models that I thought I would do and wanted to do something different, so I want to kit bash a ITLA 3-1 Warehouse. Take it from a flat to a 3D building. I will start it soon but wanted to get it in there. Everyone has done such a great job so far, you set the bar high.

Looking forward to watching what you do with this one.  I picked one up at the Expo, so I'm interested in what direction you take it.

I picked this one up at the Expo also. I certainly will be following this build.

Glassman,

Unlike Tom, I didn't get this one at the EXPO but I have my eye on it. Instead I bought their smaller kit. I am not entirely sure that my techniques are compatible with the material ITLA uses. I'll be watching your build and learning.

I do not know this kit maker ITLA. I'm intrigued.

Yes they are a kit maker out of Canada that were at the last Expo. I liked their detail work at the Expo but was not looking for flats. So I got this building thinking it was a full size and it is a flat. I am going to have to re-cut/etch some new walls and roof and base for it. But, yes it is a composite wood that I have not used / seen before.  Fun will be had and words will be said. I was going to look tonight and see what I need to do to get it started.

I picked up a couple of their flats at the Expo as well. I'll be working on a new shelf layout in the basement and "the flats" will be the first of the structures on it. The layout will be my challenge for the months to come.

I'll be following along Gary.

I bought two of the flats to practice with. I love the old Hotel and want to get painting their structures down prior to starting the Hotel.

I spent a lot of time looking at their structures at the EXPO - Very nice.  I need to find the right place for one on my layout.

Once again my wife is correct. She keeps telling me to get out from behind my camera and talk to people. I was at the Expo and don't recall this manufacturer. Boy am I embarrassed...
