New Scissors

I stumbled on these while looking for stocking stuffers.  They are designed for chopping up credit cards. You can cut 5 strips about 2.25" long and they are about 1 HO scale foot wide.  Something else to clutter up your bench.

Those look pretty neat, I'll have to look for them next time I'm in CVS...  And then do some experimenting ...  We'll have to compare notes and share them here.

Those look very similar to a tool sold in many kitchen/cooking stores that's used to chop up herbs.  Actually they're probably the same thing but simply repurposed.

Just ran across this thread, interesting tool - I will also take a look next time I'm at CVS.

Micro-Mark will sell them as "model shingling scissors" at a 'reasonable markup'. 


(I'm not faulting Micro-Mark for being clever and repurposing items like their "static grass rake.")
