Andy...

Now I have it....... that piece that was yelling at me was just an interior support and they had you use a scrap of ship lap siding for the part.  Never to be seen again.

Again.......... great structure.

thanx
Bob

you got it Bob

The front bay is attached and the tower roof is finished. The original bay window that came with the kit had angled walls, I just built mine straight. Also the window was a plain Rectangle, for some reason I got an extra peaked window so I used that instead. Working on the last piece of roofing now.

Almost done and looking good Andy.

Looking really good Andy.  Even with all of the hurdles you encountered you've done a great job in doing work-arounds.

Andy,
YOU did a great job on this kit ! Thanks for sharing the construction hurdles that were included in the box. Will make a nice addition to your Milwaukee Road empire.

Karl, Tom, Bob and Jeff,
Thank you very much. If this was my first kit ever I think I would never buy another. But seeing I have built a few other kits I think this one was just a bad apple. Thanks again for all the  great comments and questions.

Andy,

I've never been a big fan of Laser Art type construction. They do have some very nice kits but I'm just not crazy about how they go together.

You did an excellent job on this one. Well done, well done.
