Hi all,
Sometimes when I'm over at Fine Scale Miniatures helping George with his layout, I sometimes have a few minutes at the end of the day to shoot some test run footage of maiden test runs of customer locomotives to make sure they run, pull & operate as intended or at least see where I need to make adjustments.  George thought I should share a few of them with the forum members.  We hope you like!  Thanx Thom...

Those CB&Q locos look kinda familiar.   ;D  The working bell on the Dockside is really cool.

Hey,
Jeff & Tom, if you like the Cast Dockside moving bell here's another one I did last year on a Cast 4-4-0.  Thanx Thom...

Thanks everyone for all the great comments.  Here, I took a little time to post a couple other short quick test footages of the Varney Dockside and some plastic Atlas engines on the Hoosac Valley railroad.  Thanks to Dick Elwell for time hosting me over the years.  Hope you enjoy!  Thanx Thom...

Very nice Thom.  The custom locos are the best and fun to watch.  Phil

Phil,
Shhhhh, not too loud, everyone will find out & then everyone will want a custom train.  Then I'll have to go back to building the same as the other guy mass built trains. ha.  I totally agree with you.  I feel strongly that every model whether cast, brass or plastic should be anything other than ordinary.

I know a modeler who has some 800 plastic engines (mostly) in Conrail Blue.  looking at the layout they all look the same- GP-40's, SD-40's, AC 4400's and a couple GP-7's.  Really! how many 40's does one need?  When I asked him, he replied: There all totally different, they have different road numbers.  Sadly he was serious!

So Phil, Thank you for choosing the word Custom.  Thanx Thom...
