...and a few more pics....

....up next, will be the "Dockside Fish Market", a rather run down fish market that has stood the test of time....this one replaces the small freight building that I originally had on the list.....

I think it's unique AND weird.  :o  -slim

Tugs at my heart...I spent two years commercial fishing along the coast from Cape Hatteras NC to Cape Canaveral FL.  Most of the time going out of Shem Creek in Mt. Pleasant SC (Charleston).  Looks like a lot of the little fish docks that we came in to unload our catch of Snapper, Grouper, Vermillion, pogies...and anything else that we could sell.  All on hook and line with 1-armed bandit rig that we used.  I'll dig out a picture from back then, it'll be good for a laugh.

Al, most of my "ideas" from the waterfront stuff comes from Coastal Carolina stuff...especially from the Wilmington NC area....some of this series comes from a portion of early Wilmington from the turn of the century.....

Looks good so far. I would like to see the rest of it.  I am doing a large waterfront scene my self.

Made quite a few trips out of Oak Island, Southport NC.  You need a model of "Supply NC" just over the dry county line... ;D ;D ;D

As long as it's on the right side of the dry county line!

I think you could model the whole town...4 liquor stores in gas stations...That's all it was when I was there.  Don't forget the big red dots...the locals couldn't find the liquor stores without them.

I like this building.  It could be used anywhere on a layout.  Will you be offering a stone/brick foundation in case it is not used on a pier?
