John and Tom thank you for the photos of this fantastic layout.

Jim,

You are quite welcome. I just follow John's lead.

I just love this thread, Thank-you! For years all I had was the photo book! BTW, any idea/guess on the "population" of the FSM? I was thinking of how many pigeons were on the layout and then I wondered if there was a guess on how many people figures there were!

I'm glad you are enjoying the thread.  I'm counting the structures as I post them, but I will leave the counting of the people and pigeons to someone else. My guess is about 10 times the number of structures on the people - pigeons maybe 8 times.  ;)

A little to the right of Bartholow Coal and at a lower elevation we have The W.J. Hamilton Coal Company.

John got a few great shots of Hamilton Coal Co. using his selfie stick. These are the only ones I got of Hamilton's from the isle side.

Before we get to far ahead I forgot to post these photos of the abandoned tower.

On the left side of the lower part of the tower you will see the remains of a "ghost sign".

Perhaps John can ask George what it says or said. I think it reads - DUTCH SO----?
