Hi All:

The front of the diorama is finished. All left to to do is the back with the track and its canopy. Shouldn't take top long. Not sure why thew chimney looks crooked. It looks straight on the model. Possibly camera angle.

Terne looks a bit like pewter, if I remember correctly.  The Model Masters "Jet Exhaust" would be a good starting point.  http://www.art-paints.com/Paints/Acrylic/Testors/Model-Master/Jet-Exhaust/Jet-Exhaust.html  That's an interesting color as a base or a weathering coat for non-shiny metals.  Another good color (one that is acrylic based) is Vallejo "Burnt Metal" http://www.scalemodeladdict.com/SMF/index.php?topic=12668.0
