The reason I cut in the #6 turnout was to have a service track to Solkol's Mattress and Furniture Co. This is a Bar Mills kit fantastically built by Reading Bob.

Foot print down and track ready.

I like putting in a foot print and rechecking it the next few days. Often the foot print gets moved a little of turned at a different angle. This one is fine as is.

Early time in the thread for a Diet Pepsi but it is hot. I don't have the AC on in here.

I know, I know,!!! Been waited for some time to see those buildings finally "get planted" on Tom's layout. Tom and I have been exchanging, well actually, he has given me a sneak peek of his design and it will be awesome, as always. Tom does a wonderful job on everything he does. I'll be following his progress on his "planting " of the buildings and scenery. Best of luck with everything.

I sent Frank some photos of the structure placement. Believe me, I tried a half dozen different placements. He agreed with me that this is the best solution to display the two structures. I definitely didn't want them to be parallel to the layouts edge.

I also had to move the main Tahope Hwy. The hwy now skirts the edge of the layout for about three feet.
