ACL1504

We had a little excitement this afternoon on the Perkins' farm.

Seems like Mama Perkins was yelling at Fatty Patty to get off her butt and do some work. Things got out of hand and the local Po Po got called.

This is a rural county farm so normally the Tahope County Sheriff would be called. All the county mounties were busy. A mutual aide agreement with the state and county allows the Highway Patrol to respond when the sherrif deputies aren't available.

When the HP arrived the Signal 22 (civil dispute) was still in progress.

We see Mama Perkins yelling at Fatty Patty. Farmer Perkins is staying out of the disunderstanding and misaspute (this is known as cracker speak) he is just watching from a short distance. He knows better than to get in the middle of this one.

We get a little closer so we can hear what is being said.

Ma Perkins:  I teld ya to git tha broom an sweep tha porch, not sitton tha porch.

Fatty Patty:  I doesn't wanna to sweep da porch, I'm tard.

Ma Perkins:  Dosn't cared how tard ya be, I teld ya to sweep tha porch.

Fatty Patty:  Cusin Sweaty Betty over at Eaton's curve ain't gotta sweep herin porch.

Ma Perkins:  Theys ain't got no broom to sweep with. Get yourn butt up and git sweeping.

All this time Grandpa Perkins is sitting on the other side of the porch and he ain't saying nuttin either.

The state trooper got back in the car an left. Seems like Ma Perkins is going to get the last word in on the porch sweeping.

It looks like Grandpa is wondering why the path is wider than the porch stairs.

Tom,

You can certainly spin a yarn and it goes so well with the LPs. It is as if you can see Ms. Perkins lips move. If you get tired of this modeling stuff I think you may have another vocation to fall back on if you get bored. Good story, an illustrative scene and great modeling.

I'm way behind on the updates for the thread. Sorry 'bout that.

I've been working on the area shown below.

I took the blue foam block and covered it with the WS Earth ground cover.

When the scenery material dried, I brushed it into a pile.

I reclaimed it by scooping it into the WS jar.
