For a start yes, I'll need another 10+ bundles at minimum. I don't want to run out when track laying.

Ohhh.....I have a feeling we're going to be running trains on the third level before too long.  Question - will safety helmets with face shields be required when Greg is running a train on the third level?

We are definitely going to need to keep our friend on a short leash. I've learned to keep out of the way when Gregory is at the throttle.

Wait a minute Bob.....I haven't sent trains flying off the track since all the fun I used to have with the old Lionel trains when I was a kid.....and we all know that was a loooooong time ago.

I need to add scenery around the rear of the lubritorium prior to installing the bench work in this area.

Here is the area I'll be working on.

The bench work over this area will start with the 10 ft. 1X4. It appears a little cupped on the far end but will be straightened when screwed to the 2X2.

I gathered all the materials I'll need to start the scenery.



I spread some white glue on the area and applied the first/base coat of scenery material.

While the scenery was drying, I installed LEDs in the rear lubritorium/office area.

I drilled a hole in the corner and inserted a piece of brass tubing. The wires will be fed through the tubing to under the layout.



The far wall in the next photo won't been seen as an interior wall will cover the view.

Are you using resistors on your LEDs, or a current-limiting device?

I'm using current limiters for the LEDs. I got them from Slim. Thanks for stopping by.
