Uncle Tommie,
We must think alike because I just purchase the woodland senics plug and play light components for an evil model railroad project.  I going to even be using that same light pole in my project.  Their must be some sort of psychic connection between us.  Maybe that's what happens when you drink so much Diet Pepsi that soon all us Diet Pepsi drinkers begin to think alike.

I must have another diet pepsi.....

The lights look great Tom. The local Hobby Lobby had discounted these a while ago and I bought a bunch and planned on using them on my Telephone Co. build. I need to finish that thread too.. :o :o

The evil plan Bob is to start working on a small structure that uses the light pole to light up the area next to the building.  If all goes well I will also use it to post a forum thread here about its construction as I have never done a thread on this board (IE all my threads were on that other forum).  So it's kind of a practice model project.  Nothing earth shattering.  I just need to recover a little bit more from some recent health issues first before I get started.

Go for it Bruce.....looking forward to seeing your work again.  :)

Really nice lighting effects Tom. The light poles really punched up the BBQ scene.

Curt,

Thank you, much appreciate you checking in on the lighting.

The LED lighting really gives the structures another dimension. Very nicely done. It looks like I need to help Slim pay off the wedding bills. ;) ;D ;D ;D

John,

Thank you, LED lighting has changed everything in the hobby. Obviously much better than the old grain of wheat bulbs.

As you and I know, Slim will need all the help he can get for the wedding cost.

Hi Tom:

The railroad is looking just fantastic. Love the scenes you have set up. Love the Barbecue and the fireworks shop.

Hi Tom,

The photo of the country store is really great Tom.  And the lights really add to the layout different scenes.  I guess I need to quit procrastinating and get some lights installed on my layout.

Steve,

Appreciate the comment, thank you. For the past several years when I build a structure, I add the LEDs at the time. If not, I make it easy to add them later in the construction of the lighting process. I made 18 LED and goose neck lights in advance of adding them to the current line of structures. It does save a little time.

Frank,

The LEDs have changed the entire look of the Atlantic and Southern RR. Thank you for the generous compliment on the lighting. This has been a fun part of the layout build.

Cousin Brucie,

Diet Pepsi drinkers are all in one accord. And, I'm not talking about the Honda! 8) 8)

I must admit I'm impressed with the WS light poles and how they use a hub to join the lights. They even have the ability to dim the lights. I haven't used the hub but plan to try it later, maybe on the third level lighting.

Now, I'm gonna get a fresh cold Diet Pepsi.
