I'm taking a break from benchwork and going back to some scenery on the middle second level.

I want to also get the roundhouse back in good order and figure where I want the supporting building in the roundhouse area.

Today I repainted the roundhouse interior posts with Tamiya Sky Gray. It dries a little darker than when wet. I also used Polly Scale Pacemaker Red for the bottom of the posts.

I'll let the paint set for a few days and then use A&I for the weathering on the posts.




Tomorrow I'll show ya'll some of the wonderful, most natural looking, super trees I've ever seen. They were made my Master Tree Modeler Kris Cutler. They are literally one of a kind and second to none. No Brag, Just Fact!

Thank you. It was a tedious job. Most of the supports were glued in place and I needed to get the brush down between the support posts to paint on the red.   It took a few hours to finish the nine stalls.

I'd like to share some photos of Kris Cutler's super super trees by Scenic Express, er, I mean by Kris.

She has taken making trees to a level of which I'm not familiar. The work and bark detail is amazing and professionally done. I'm certainly very honored she wanted to make the trees for the Atlantic and Southern RR.

I won't go into any detail on how she made the trees as she and Bill may do a thread in the future the distance future. Note I said may, so ya'll hold down the encouragement.
