Carolina Craftsman Kits was kind enough to send me three kits for the contest build, which I missed by two days. I will set two aside for the next contest and kit bash his Harbor Masters kit into something for the layout. I will be turning it into an ice cream stand. (hope he doesn't mind)

Here is the first shot of the kit picture and all the goodies.

I already added the 1/16 corner pieces and will be starting the bracing.

Bracing was furnished with the kit and the instructions show it's placement. I do my bracing a little different and like some of the pieces against the corner so there is more surface to glue to. Here all the bracing is done. I will only be using two sections of this building so I will finish the third latter.

Now to paint them black inside.

I have the two main boxes glued up and painted inside.

I have the two sections painted and the windows and door on the first level. I used the roof but instead of centering it I moved it forward and made an overhang with support beams.

I cut out one section of the sliding window to make it open and mounted a shelf under it.

Where did you get the squaring square that you have in left corner of some of your pictures?

ak-milw

I made it Rick, I was a tool maker in another life.
