Hi Guys:

Got the foundation done and attached to the upper walls of the main building. This took a few hours as fitting takes some time. Its not perfect but I guess it looks OK.

Hi All:

Decided to do a little dry-brushing on the walls. I used Craftsmart acrylic paint. The color is Bisque. It's an antique white color.

Looks good!  Think about stippling some weathering powders on top of that, maybe dark brown, light bluish grey, even an olive green, to represent 'crystals' and other coloring in the rock.  I've gotten some good results with that as a 'last step' in rock coloring.

Karl, Gerald one day wants to be like you. However, I never want to be like you .... cause then I wouldn't be able to look up to you.

Hi Dave:

Thanks for the post. I'm not exactly sure how to do what you are saying. Maybe you could post a photo of a wall you did using these techniques with the powders here on my build. It would be much appreciated so I could see exactly what you are talking about as I've never done to many stone walls. Also tell me what powder colors you used on the wall if you post one here for me.

Thanks Much:

Hi Donato:

Thanks I really appreciate that compliment. However, I'm sure you are just as good as I am.

That's pretty good stuff right there.
