Thanks for sharing Bill (& Tom). I really like the transition from 3-D scenery to backdrop. Very nice overall!

I hope to see it in person someday

Greg and Pegi DeMayo (Greg's better half as well as Eileen (my better half) and I had a wonderful time visiting the with Bill and Kris this morning and getting a look at there marvelous layout.   :D  The pictures I took probably won't do the layout justice but here are a couple shots of the Carolina Craftsman Kits Aunt Ruth's House that I recently did a build thread on sitting in what will be its new home on the layout.

Thanks for hosting us Bill and Kris.  We really enjoyed the visit!   :D

Bob it was fun having you come by with your lovely better half,Eileen to see our progress in our adventure. Kris and I can't thank you enough for the beautiful Aunt Ruth's house that now occupies space on our layout. Your work is greatly appreciated!! Thank you again.
Greg we are so glad you brought Pegi with you this time, we hope she had a good time.  Thanks for your help with the IrfanView program, now... if I can remember what you did I will be posting some photos soon.

Hi Bill.....Pegi and I had a wonderful time during our visit, thanks for having us.

The progress you and Kris have made is amazing, I really like those big tree trunks y'all are doing, they really knock the realism up a notch!

You're welcome for the help with Irfanview, if you have any questions, give me a call. However, the windows 8 operating system you have is really a pain, I will definitely stick with 7.

See y'all next time!

Here are a few shots I took on Bill and Kris' Pennsey layout.

That's Pegi in the middle of the track and Bob back at Horseshoe Curve.

This shot is at the top of the layout. The tower replicates the real one, but I can't remember what Bill told us it was.

Here is a neat scene with an arc welder in the brick shop building.

This is Bobs wife Eileen in the forest on the hill.

This is Eileen, still in the forest and Bills' wife Kris in the middle of the helix.

That's all the pictures I remembered take.

Thanks again Bill & Kris, see y'all next time.....

Looks like everyone had a great time. I was thinking the other day that Bill and Kris really had no idea what they were getting into when I suggested to them to join the forum and let me profile their Pennsy!

That will teach them to listen to me!

I guess they are becoming part of the SBG (Saturday Butty Group)!

Bill,

I think Aunt Ruth's looks good in that spot!  I see Aunt Ruth is out hanging cloths on the cloths line.   :D

Bob,

I stopped by the Pennsy this morning and the location for Aunt Ruth's House is perfect!  Bill and Kris are doing a little urban renewal in that area and the end result will be one of manyh focal points on the layout! Here is that area!

Here another little scene! I think these guys had a little to much to drink at the local bar last night!

I happen to be on the hill looking down Cresson Cut and saw an ABA unit pulling an oil train. I walked down onto the tracks to get a closer look and was run off by the Pennsy Police! So, back on the hill I went! It was good I scrammed as the engineer turned on the headlight indicating he was under way.

The next three photos are of AR Tower on the Real Pennsy! This view is looking up from the Rat Hole! All trains were required to stop at AR Tower for a brake test. It was all down hill from this point on!

I see Jon Shubert standing by his red corvette and taking more pictures of AR Tower.

Grandma's house is just up and to the right of Cresson Cut! This is a great little scene and I see grandma still has her little woody in the driveway! Maybe it was gramdpa's woody?

Looks like their barn on the right needs a few repairs! I see "Old Blue" laying on the front porch just waiting for the repair guy in the truck to brave the walk!

I wonder if Bill and Kris have any Pennsy locomotives?
