Lynn,

I hate it when that happens as well. Your build is excellent as well. Great job on the kit.

Hey Lynn:

Here is the photo I promised. Note where the front & rear bollards are placed. They are placed per the photos of the built model rather than the drawing. This is important especially for the rear bollard as the rope has to go around to the bollard on the rear of the deck. If placed as on the drawing the rope would hit the deck structure.

Karl
Ok now I see what you mean, when I was running the rope I had noticed how the rope crossed the corner too far inward, I will have to fix that. Thanks again.

Ok this is as far as I've gotten, been working so very little progress. I ran short on the rope for the tire bumpers so had to improvise with a stop at fabric store and bought a spool of thread in what I thought was a newer looking thread color and once installed gave a drizzle of A/I. Always comments and suggestions welcome. Karl thanks for the tip on the rear bollard placements.

Ok guys I think I'm pretty well done with the Pile driver, well other than I need some peeps. I took the advice and ordered up a basic Model Color kit by Vallejo. I did do some experimenting as I've never painted a figure before and made up a wet pallete and used some cheap acrylic paints. I'm posting some pics of the Piledriver on the work bench as well as some different angles on the wharf with other kits I built.
Please give me some honest feedback on both the Piledriver and the little figure I painted. For the figure from what I've been reading, learning here there is a technique I need to learn for creating shadows and depth.
OOPS looks like I will have to do the pics on the wharf in a seperate post.
