Bet you're glad not to be modeling the B&O. All those additional aspect lights would have been over the top.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Chip,

Yes indeed. I have a friend with those on his Pennsy layout and one signal has about 50 wires. If the A&S had those signals this layout would have none. 8) 8)

The signal is finished and wired in place.

Upper target green is for the mainline. Diverging route is red.

Lower green for diverging route and upper red for mainline stop.

I had a quick update but the forum won't load any new pictures. Here is one I loaded a few months ago.

Well, I'm way behind on the updates to the thread.  Honestly, the loss of two long time family pets and two dental root canals has dampened my desires of late.

I appreciate all the emails and PM asking if all was going well. All is now well as a matter of fact but still in shock of losing the two Chihuahuas in 39 days.

A partial update to follow.

China is holding Walthers up on many of their track items. I was going to use the Walthers 30 degree crossing on the layout but have no clue as to when it will be made.

I've decided to build the 30 degree crossing using the Fast Tracks jig. Also, I noticed a very slight difference in the scale of the two 30 degree printouts.

On very close inspection, I discovered the Walthers print out is about a half thickness of code 83 rail thinner/off the regular code 83 Micro Engineering rail.

The Fast Tracks Template jig is spot on. When I placed the Walthers template over the fast tracks one, the angles of the opposing crossing didn't match. Thanks Greg for sending me the fast tracks template.

Below are the two printed templates. Walthers is on the bottom in the photo below.

Since I made the cork 30 degree crossing based on Walthers template, I'll cut it out and start over when and once I get the fast tracks crossing finished.
