Wow - Tom that looks fantastic.  The waves reflecting the LED lighting really looks great.

John,

Thank you my friend. The photo did come out better than planned.

Cousin Brucie,

When I took the photo the water was kind of cool as well. ;D ;D

Thanks very much for the compliment cousin.

I started adding the plexi-glass fascia today. I need to help the Babe with some 1:1 stuff and when finished, I'll post a few photos of how it looks.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

I used a 1X3 as a base to hold the plexi-glass level as I lined it up and screwed it in place.

I cut a piece 6.5 inches wide or high. Each piece was 4 feet long - I had no choice here as this is the length it came. Two inches below the ground level and 4.5 inches are above ground level.

I'll leave the protective film on the pieces until I get them in place and secure. I removed the film on the piece on the left so you can see the difference.

I'll finish the plexi-glass tomorrow.

This photo was taken looking through the clear fascia.

Yepper, it's all level.

Tom, is it screwed directly to the fascia or did you use rubber washers to take some of the stress off so it wouldn't crack?

Tom

The plexiglass looks great.  I just bought some plexiglass for my control panels and left the store with a much lighter wallet.  Can I ask where you bought it and cost?  I have a number of areas on the S&S RR that need the same type of protection.
