ACL1504

I added the upper bay window section next. The front door and this section took me a good three hours to get square and glued in place. Again, the bay window section was shaved, sanded and cut to fit the opening.

This had to be done with the idea that it still had to maintain the bay window shape/integrity.

More of this during this part of the build. *(*(&%^#$^*)%)&%()&! And then some.

This post brings back memories I need to forget. Maybe a little Crown Royal in the Diet Pepsi will help.

Back in a few.

I pealed the protective paper off the front windows and one fell out. I had to glue it in again and of course got some finger prints on the inside. I didn't see the smudge until after the window was in place. :'(

The front window frame was then glued to the front wall.

The left window and door frame were glued in place along with the Tahope Cafe sign.

Let there be light.

What appears to be glue smudges is light reflection/hot spots the camera sees.

Fantastic job Tom, don't worry about the fingerprint, if you ever sell it it will make it worth more because of the artists fingerprint on it  ;)
I love photo's, don't we all.

Jan,

Thank you, I very much appreciate the support. Yes, the finger print, actually the latent print, is on the inside and can't be removed.

It comes at no charge. ;D ;D ;D

Tom,

The balanced lighting really shows off the excellent interior modeling.  This is going to be a real show stopper on your layout.  I hope the aisle is wide enough to let people pass each other because this is going to be a spot where visitors stop and blocks it.

Awesome job all around Tom.  Really shows your talent, my friend.

Simply spectacular!   8)

This will be a great inspiration when I get around to building mine.  I need to start looking for a bunch of little people to populate the interior.
