My sheds now need a crane. This is the second kit. The box, the drawing of each part - all 98 of them and the parts themselves. No instructions come with the kit other than it is not suitable for anyone under 10 years, however each step A through to L is illustrated by a line drawing.

Starting with step A - these are the left and right carriers. The parts are cut from the carrier sheet and carefully glued together using the slots cut into the parts. The parts are numbered and I have learned to use each in order to avoid mistakes.

This looks like a puzzle to build.

Lots of parts , lots of fun, following along Mike.
I love photo's, don't we all.

Here is step B.
Once again I cannot emphasise enough to pay careful attention to the printed diagram. I did find one fault with the kit the second set (smaller one in the picture) had to be pared down as the wheels would not fit into the fairing.

Thanks Jan I'm looking forward to your build of the N scale service station............

Here is step C.
It basically involves covering the inside of the boom with some grey card before assembling some elements made in step B.
Mike

Step D is easy. Just stick laser cut grey card over the various elements in the boom to disguise the tabs. Voila.

Step E is much the same covering the boom with laser cut card elements............
ERROR - looking through the parts I discover rivets............The step for these little beauties does not appear in the instructions sheets.
It seems these have to be applied on top of the recent card elements already applied to the model.
The laser detail is awesome but I wish the step had been illustrated.
I think I will leave it for the day :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

madharry

One last post I have managed to apply two sets of rivets to the boom. The detail is awesome when you consider this is lasered onto thin card.
The others will have to wait until tomorrow.............

Looking good Mike. I don't think I could do it.

Love the rivets , great detail for a cardboard kit , for any kit.
Oh and the gas station is not on it's way yet, doing a Greyhound Bus station at the moment and then the January challenge
I love photo's, don't we all.
