Hey Guys:

I had to figure out a way to install the rafter tails on this side of the loft roof as I could not see the tick marks on the roof. So here's what I came up with if anyone else build this kit. It works pretty well. I straightened out the crooked ones.

Someone (Motrak Models?) makes a jig for rafters.  One side is 18" centers, the other is 24" centers.  Same idea, but with the appropriate notch.

Hi All:

Finished the main roof. As I said I went with rolled roofing as I think it looks more industrial. Here's a photo. Hope it looks ok.

Karl, very good choice on the roof--it looks more than ok. It really looks like it belongs. Nice job.

Neat roof Karl. I'm a sucker for punishment so I'm going to use the Campbell's on mine ! I see you roofed before the chutes are installed,,,, I'm debating on doing my roof after the chutes so I can butt up against them with the shingles,,,,,looking forward on seeing more of your progress!
