Hi Steve:

I see what you are saying. The funny thing is that it looks much brighter in the photos than in person. So I probably won't do anything to it. Thanks for your input. However just out of curiosity what would you do to it>

Your build is coming along nicely Karl. I found the most problematic are the chutes and ended up trimming them out around the edges. In the instructions it looks like George "tarred" the space at the roof. I'm doing the red color, your gray looks fantastic. Next up for me is the pit.  Did you have any issues building it?

Hey Bob:

Thanks for the compliment. No I didn't have any problems with the pit. It went together fine. Are you posting photos on here. If so where as I haven't seen your build yet.

H Karl, I would first try using some pastels as a powder only.  I have done that before and it works pretty well.

Karl,

Another great build sir. I love these builds of yours and I'm behind in getting all the photos into my "Karl S." file.

Fantastic build, just wonderful.

Hey Steve:

What color powdered pastels do you suggest?

Karl

Karl,

I would try a light shade of burnt umber or grey.  I would experiment first on a small section before you do the whole roof.

Hey Steve:

Ok thanks for the info. I try it on a scap made up roof and see if I like it.
