Everytime I see that cool metal glue dispenser tip, I vow to get one, then life takes me away. Looks like a great little tool.

Thanks for the kind comments Mark.  I was just following along with the recommendation in the instructions regarding gluing the subfloor down before adding the decking.  It did make it a bit easier to get dirt under there.

The base was always one of those things I least looked forward to making up.  Since I started using GatorFoam I don't mind it at all any more.
