A friend has been buying used HP printers at office (going-out-of-business) auctions for the last 20 years or so.  He gets them really cheap, often well under $100.  A few have been DOA, but most work OK, so he generally has 2 or 3 in his basement as back-ups.  He says, "The toner in each is worth the purchase price." 


I'm afraid there'll be a lot of bankruptcy sales once we're allowed out of our houses.   >:(

I never buy the brand name ink , most knock offs are more then good enough and cost 1/3rd of the price or even less .
I love photo's, don't we all.

I switched from inkjet to laser for two reasons: ink fading under fluorescent lights, and ink running when I applied A&I wash or solvent-based paint or clear/dull varnish.
