Hello all, does anyone know about  or have any opinion about JV Models craftsman kits ?   Jeff

Hi Jeff,
I have their curved trestle kit but I have not made it yet. The parts look OK though.

I've built a few of their kits years ago. I believe they are the same as the John Rendall brand of kits.

They are basically a box of stripwood with very few frills and very basic instructions. Give them a shot if you can find them for cheap enough worst case scenario you get a box of stripwood you can use elsewhere. I wouldn't pay much more than $10 for one of their kits.

Just my opinion of course.

Thank you Mike and Steve. I saw a few of their kits while surfing the web and I hadn't seen any of them before and there are no build threads on the forum. Appreciate your input.    Jeff

I built a grain elevator from JV in N-scale , it was more of a scratchbuild then a kit build . Here's the box with it's contents .
I love photo's, don't we all.
