Excellent modeling Craig.

Really appreciate the support :)

Great job on the tavern as well as showing how you reworked the Bar Mills kit to match the original.  Really nice modeling.   :D

Coming on really nicely, Rusty.

Thanks so much, both.

It took little effort to transform the Bar Mills kit into the full-size version I'm building. A single pack of $5 clapboard siding and some 30¢ basswood strips is all is cost, too. I reccomend it to anyone looking to build Saulenas'

Using my initial post as a guide, here are measurements for the lumber you need to supply. One pack (item code 116CLPP) was enough for:

Back wall - 190mm wide
Side right (hidden by Izzy Fish Co) - 135mm wide

Then, using the redundant wall from the Bar Mills kit, you can make:

Front right (the "Rooms 25¢" wall) - 65mm wide
Top of stairs wall - 23mm wide

All lumber used here has the same height, so that's taken care of right out of the gate.

Attaching the 3D file (.stl) for the stairs, too.

Hope this makes sense

Great work, I'm really enjoying your thread. To my amazement the stair file that I downloaded just popped up on my apple screen.  It works.

Thanks John. So pleased to hear it! And yes, Apple computers are smart enough to read .stl files right out of the gate. You can even grab the preview and rotate it!

Definitely doable - and cheaper! Some fiddly pieces near the left corner overhang, if scratch-building completely.

I'm still following you though lol...Dennis
