Just great seeing these all over again.  A beautiful layout to say the least.

Howdy Tom, thanks for sharing photos of your beautiful layout.  Have fun, mike
My current builds are on the Buffalo Canyon Mining Company's wooden Howe Truss Bridge, and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Quote from: deemery on May 23, 2025, 06:16:21 PMTom, that last night shot is very good, but you need to work out the blurry loco at front.  This would be a great opportunity to learn about focus stacking.  I think it would be worth the effort, that could make a great cover shot for a magazine.

Dave,

I can't photo stack with my little Sony Cybershot. I'll need to use the 35 mm camera. But, hey, don't you realize the haze  around the loco as coal dust?  ;D

What Rick said!  It is a joy to behold, waking at 4:58 am, to jump over to your layout to catch a glimpse of
new items. Your layout is astounding to see and I believe that stash of kits is smaller than mine...makes me wonder
why I keep buying them knowing fully well they will never be built. You and I could open a hobby shop. We could have the largest open market on the East coast! Sales from Pennsylvania to Florida! USPS would be buzzing for sure. I guess I'm not yet fully awake!

Have a great day in the trainyard.

Rich
Rich,

Your kind and generous compliment on the layout is appreciated as are all the very kind comments I get.

I'll take your word for the amount of kits you have and I'm not sure I'm happy or sad for you. I found having all mine has become a curse. People want to buy them but for half the price they sold for.  8) 8)

We could for sure have quite the sale if we put it all together. Through the years I had all FSM and SRMW kits and slowly through the years sold them. I have three FSM I plan on building.

Thanks for stopping by.

Jerry,

Thank you very much Jerry. I'm about 100+ photos behind on this thread compared to what I showed on RR Lines.

Greg,

You know, I got a call from Colonial Hobby Shop and asked me if I had something someone was looking for. And, I did. That is scary and confirms that I may or may not be a hoarder.  8)

I used the roundhouse extension to add a second steam pipe. This is also an eye catcher to break up the plain look of the rear of the roundhouse. I do have many junk detail stuff to add but haven't done so yet. I need to cut more clear polycarbonate to the area to protect it.

You see Curt, on occasions I do allow the Pennsy trackage rights over portions of the A&S RR.

This is known to Pennsy fans as a May West caboose. It has something to do with the cupola! :P

Until I get the polycarbonate sheet cut, I clamped on a 2 ply piece of cardboard to protest the steam pipes.

This is absolutely necessary as visitors seem to lean on the layout edge and break things.

Done for today.
