Great scene!  Good job!  I know the crane attached to the structure is kit.  But is that large, separate, overhead crane a part of the kit, or is that your creation?

That kit is a Walthers kit. I did shorten it to fit the space. My back story is that Popovichs old building crane has out lived its usefulness and Popovich has invested in a new crane.( My sister in law's family is Popovich and her late dad worked at Alleghany Ludum Steel. When this kit came out I really liked it and it fit into my theme on my layout naming buildings after friends.)

Final pictures. I toned down the road way with a wash of raw umber . I also added some grey slate material i got from a coal boney pile under the big crane. I lightly weathered the big crane as I wanted it to look new compared to the old wooden one. Additional detail were added. On to the next build. Tom

Hi Tom. Great build and an interesting industrial site. I can just imagine all the differing types of RR cars picking up or dropping off raw materials used at this location. Great ops opportunity.
