I've been quietly following along on this one, Tom.  Great job all the way around.  I'm always intrigued by your ability to take a kit like this and make it your own. Wonderful work on a really neat structure that's going to be another focal point on your layout.

Thank you for the more than generous and kind compliment on the build. As you saw this past Saturday, it is complete. I need to finish this build thread and move on to another.

I'm way behind on updating the thread on this kit. I have it finished and now I'll post more on the thread.

I cut a hole in the base for the light wires. I then sealed the edges with white glue.

While the white glue was drying, I used painters tape to tape off the green on the lower portions of the walls on the freight house/warehouse.

I also made sure the green and white were even with each structure. I only needed to make a very slight adjustment with the blue tape.

I then painted the walls white in the same manner I did with the main building.

The three walls of the warehouse were assembled. I made sure the walls were at 90 degrees as the glue dried.

I previously stained the flooring of the warehouse with Floquil Flo-Stain Natural Pine.



When dry, the next day, I began to install the flooring.

The end rafter was next to fix on my build. When I installed the interior walls, it changed the length of the rafter I needed.




The interior end wall brace also needed to be adjusted.

I marked the portion of interior bracing I needed to remove and removed it. I made a rafter test fit.

The rafter was trimmed to fit and another test fit was made. It fit as I intended it to.
