Morning all

Back from our foray to Door county Wisconsin.  The grandkids had a great time.  I, unfortunately, missed a step and have a broken toe and a left hand in a splint.  Great to see them but happy to be home and in the quiet.

I have a haircut appointment this morning and really need to mow today.

This was the view out back from our rental place.  The front had a large pond with a small sand beach.

Ouch!  More experience in being a patient...

Weather in SE NH is cloudy, but still cooler than it's been earlier.  Chance of showers this afternoon.  I'm continuing to work on the coaling trestle, figuring out how to handle the "not level" ground and building the coal bins underneath the trestle.

Morning All...back from checking on Mom in NY and still struggling to get moving on the railroad with the NNGC less than a month away. I've been looking at good FB modeling groups and have been tricked into remembering how much I liked the wide open spaces of N scale  :o

Uh oh...telling myself to take a breath and don't do anything crazy  ;D

Morning all,

Just enjoying another day of nothing on the calendar.  I'm really getting used to that.  I'll hit the workbench this afternoon.  I haven't bothered for a couple of days.  Time to get back into the swing of things.

The Judge and Tom inspecting an engine at Steamtown.  I think it passed inspection.

Have a great one!

Early afternoon all,

Just finished edging and cutting the grass. Now I'm to tired to do anything else.

Blast from the past Bob.

Wow, it's alive!

Both me and the forum.

A lot has happened since I last posted.

I decommissioned/disassembled my layout in Sanford, sold the house, and moved to East Tennessee (Sweetwater).  I built a house (that took forever), moved in back in May 2024.  Now I am finishing up the unfinished basement area that will house the next edition of the Ogden and Cache Valley RR.
