Good Morning Everyone;

I have the coffee pot on so grab a cup. Yesterday I made the mistake of turning on the TV and watched what I guess passes as an interview these days. When did the so called 4th Estate quit its job of reporting and simply became partners of the political parties? Personally I feel like there are two Americas these days, the one we live in and the one the 'news' wants to report. 

Anyway back to things I can understand, I worked on the design of the lift bridge yesterday and found I need to do more research concerning how the rolling lift bridge was actually opened and closed. The blueprints I am able to see online are too worn out to see the electrical connections. I am thinking of starting another building as well so we will see.

Good morning Jim.  Thanks for the coffee, another cup right now will "hit the spot". 

Overcast here with some showers today, though the "real deal" arrives tomorrow with a cold front. 

You're all probably sick of reading it, but I am still plugging along on some freight cars. I'll try to get a few pics together sooner than later.

 Morning...yesterday's line of very strong storms came around 5 pm. Several tornadoes were reported. One touched down 10 miles Northwest of us. Power was restored in about one hour at our home. Some homes are still without power from last week's weather. A few photos from our car...last photo is looking NW where it touched down...Stay Safe... Tommy

I agree with you Jim. I knew the interview was a scam by her and the media. I don't want to say more but this isn't the America I grew up in. If I say more, I'll surely offend others.

Happy Friday!  And a 3 day weekend for those of us still grinding away 9-5.  Or 7-4 for me.

Drywall for basement walls was delivered this morning. 12x4 sheets.  10 in the basement garage and 30 in the train layout room. Hopefully the drywall hangers can get started soon.
