Mornin' all,

It's a normal work day for me.

I got up early and carried a bunch of carpet tiles down to the basement this morning.  I have all the whole carpet tiles laid down and and now I have about 43 tiles to cut/place around the edge.

Hope y'all have a great day!

And it's a normal workday for me also. Oh! Wait a minute. I'm retired.
But I'm not too old to remember what office days were.
Carry on.
Working on my second million. I gave up on the first.

Well, the parts that were supposed to be delivered here (Dover NH) yesterday got sent to Detroit, instead.  But the Post Office recovered, and supposedly they'll be in today's mail.  The other set I ordered at the same time is FINALLY into the postal system, due to arrive next week.

Yesterday was a wash-out, Dr Appt and then the A/C repair guy. But the system is fixed and fully serviced, except for one item they recommend replacing as it's making noise.  So I'll wait for the estimate on that and schedule it.  Better to replace than to have it fail mid-winter...

Today's plan is to dig out the static grass gun and try making tufts.

Good morning.

Doug, I think you're trying to get through October a little faster than necessary...

There is a weak cold front passing through my area that has added a chance of some showers to the forecast.  I'll take advantage of the potential for some precipitation to do some modeling, like I really need an excuse!

Reading Bob asked that I post a photo of the CNJ gondola that I took to the Anthracite Modelers Meet last month.  This is a Funaro & Camerlengo resin kit. The decals that come with the kit are too new for my pre-WWI era.   Most of the lettering and the fried egg heralds came from a Westerfield set for a CNJ open hopper.  I pieced bits from four other sets together for the rest of the lettering.

I hope everyone has a safe and rewarding day!

Good morning,

I do love the random tiles, much like the way I think.

Who says digging in the garden is not profitable, I found a 1963 copper penny and a Tootsie Baja Run About toy from the the 1950s. Whoooo !

Morning all.

Went to the DOT this morning as I realized we haven't yet received a title for the new vehicle.  They had no info which means the dealer probably hasn't sent it yet, so I emailed them to get them moving.

Nice looking gondola, Jerry.  And I like the carpet tiles as well, Doug.

Morning all,

Great looking CNJ gondola, Jerry.  ;D

I'm being a little lazy today.  Hopefully some motivation will strike after lunch, and I'll pull out the workbench.  It's been too hot and humid outside to do some of the things that need to be done out there.

Have a great one!

Afternoon all,

Doh! I forgot to check in this fine day.

Jerry, great job on the gondola.

I've been in the train shed for three hours and have done not one thing. Not sure what's wrong with me but not interested in dong anything.

Hope all are having a great day.
