Morning all.

Black Friday.  Odd that I'm off work, I think I've worked 12 of the last 13 years on this day.  No crazy shopping today, though we will go down to the local appliance store to purchase a new dishwasher, as there's a rebate.  I spent a lot of $$$ Wednesday on a new TV for the missus, no need to fight the crowds today.

Good morning.

Pretty quiet here today.  Braved the nasty slippery roads yesterday to visit my friend Jim (Whiskey River on the Forum) for his birthday and Thanksgiving rolled into one.  Good food, good company, enjoyable day in spite of the weather!  I need to get the tractor out and at least plow the snow out from in front of the mailbox this morning. Nothing special planned for the day, definitely no shopping trips...

I hope everyone has a warm, safe and awesome day!

Morning all,

In his recent YouTube video update of his layout Doug Foscale said he's going to take it down and explained what he's going to try and salvage and what he was unhappy about with it.  He'll be building two new layouts, one in HO and on in On30 (at least that's what I think I heard).  Both should be interesting.

I'm off to JoAnn's Fabric later this afternoon to pick up a new Ott Light for my workbench.  It's too hard to see the tiny stuff clearly without that extra light.

Have a great one!

Howdy all for NW Indiana.  It feels like 16 here.  It is trying to develop pond effect snow outside.
Joan can't cook so we had Thanksgiving dinner delivered.  So the spirit was there.  Joan is an excellent cook and she did make her cranberry sauce.  I bought a bottle of Cold Duck for dinner, Joan didn't feel like a drink.  I'm probably the only one on the forum that likes Cold Duck.
Too many projects in limbo on the layout...Bad habit doing that, I get so far behind, I don't know where to start...Hey; that sounds like a good New Year's Eve promise...only one iron in the fire at once

Morning everyone

I see most survived the Turkey Day of eating food!

Remember if your out there today the "SILLY SEASON" has officially started!!

Everyone have a wonderful day!!  ;D

Late morning all,

I was up early and edged and cut the grass prior to the "so called for" rain this afternoon.

Time to clean up and get back in the train shed.

Have a great day everyone.

You know I was tempted to bring up your name in that post but I restrained myself.  ;)
