Morning all,

One week to Christmas.  Probably too late to get off the naughty list.

Need to chauffer my wife to an epidural this morning and other stuff this afternoon, so probably not much bench time today.

Morning everyone

I brought some coffee and donuts if your interested.

Weather in South Jersey is sunny/35 heading to 54.

Diane has a Dr. appointment later today.
So I will try to sneak in some bench time before we go.

Everyone have a wonderful day!  :)

Howdy,

It's turning into a sunny day here after 3 days of gray fog mist etc.

Been working on lower level benchwork in the morning and evenings. I need more 1x3s for ledger boards and support struts to continue making progress, but I will probably just wait until Friday when the big load of lumber is supposed to be delivered.

All but 2 of the current legs are temporary until I can install support struts from the wall.

Hope y'all have a great day!

Doug

I am rather fond of the Irwin clamps.  :)

The cross beams are not spaced evenly here because I am trying to avoid interference with Tortoise turnout motors along here where one side of the turnout ladder is for the 6 lower return loop staging tracks.

I made it to the corner before I ran out of 1x3 ledger boards.

Afternoon all,

That's an impressive amount of work you've accomplished, Doug!  :o

Not much going on here.  I'll probably return to painting detail castings this afternoon.  The two kits I'm working on don't have too many of them, but I have another stack sitting off on the side of my workbench that are also begging to be painted so I'm tackling some of those as I go along.

Have a great one!
