Morning all.

Sunny and will break 40 here today.  May go for a short walk later.

Still working on roofing the FSM kit.  Probably will do some rafter tails today.

Football watching later, the Patriots may actually be on video today.  We're 14.5 point underdogs and i doubt it will be that close.

Good morning to all, it will be another nice day in the desert today- mid 70's. I enjoyed watching my Ohio State Buckeyes win yesterday. I'm also enjoying all of the build threads on the Winter Challenge. I hope that more modelers join in the fun after all of the Christmas gift kits are unwrapped next week. Great idea Jim.

Happy winter,

It is -17c (5f) with high winds and snow on the ground. Yippee. He says sarcastically.

Not much going on here this AM but modeling seems to be in my afternoon plans.

Like Jeff, I'm also enjoying all the build threads.

Have a great and safe day ya'll.

Good morning.

Our overnight low was 2 degrees F, we're on a warming trend as it is up to 3 degrees F.  Woohoo!!  Obviously, a modeling day after laundry, some cleaning, etc.  I think I can hear a couple freight cars calling my name...

I hope everyone has a safe and productive day!

Morning all,

Not much on the agenda today other than football and workbench time.  Gotta gets some workbench time in early this week since we'll be flying up to PA on Friday to spend a few days with family and friends.

Have a great one!

Mornin' (still) all,

I have been working on the center platform since yesterday.  It's the biggest consumer of lumber in my layout project. I have 4 more floor trusses to build (hopefully today) and then I can install the 3/4" T/G subflooring and 1/2" plywood "walls".

I also made a big pot of fantastic black bean/cocoa chili yesterday. It will provide leftovers for several days.

Hope you all have a great Holiday!

Doug,

The benchwork and the chili look good.
